After graduation in 1998, her three year commitment began with the Army. It was while at the Officer Basic Course at Fort Sam Houston that she and her family fell in love with San Antonio. After her three year commitment ended, she returned to San Antonio to begin private practice life. She was able to purchase Stone Oak Vision Source in 2005 and has enjoyed growing the practice.
Dr. Allison is trained in the treatment and detection of ocular disease and is licensed as an optometric glaucoma specialist in Texas. She has updated the office with new equipment to provide comprehensive eye care for all ages. She is a participant in the Infant See program, sponsored by the American Optometric Association and provides comprehensive examinations to children under one year of age at no cost.
In addition, Dr. Allison is past president of the Bexar County Optometric Society. She was previously a member of the board of directors for the Texas Optometric Association and is an active member the American Optometric Association. She is also a Fellow of the Orthokeratology Academy of America. Dr Allison is certified to fit many different designs of corneal molding lenses. She enjoys finding the perfect solution to her patients’ needs whether it be specialty contact lenses, glasses, medical eye care, or a LASIK surgery consultation.
In her free time, Dr. Allison enjoys growing an extensive vegetable garden, traveling, and spending time with her amazing husband and their 5 kids.

Pam Evans, O.D.

Dr. Evans has been practicing since 1989, and her optometric education has provided her the opportunity to work in many diverse settings such as private practices, a military hospital clinic, as well as an ophthalmology surgery clinic. Dr. Evans says that her exposure to different work settings has enhanced her skillsets and allowed her to become a better doctor.

The support and recommendation he received from his mentor, Dr. Anderson, had a strong influence on Dr. Green’s decision to pursue a career in optometry. It is a highly-specialized field that offers him the opportunity to have a direct and positive impact on his patients’ quality of life.
Dr. Green especially enjoys taking time to build strong, long-term relationships with his patients and loves being able to share his optical knowledge with them. As a result, Dr. Green can help his patients maintain their most valued sense – their eyesight.
In his free time away from the office, Dr. Green enjoys spending time outdoors and stays active by fishing, skiing, and cycling.

After his commitment ended, he stayed in San Antonio to begin his private practice life. Dr. Kim joined Trinity Vision Center in 2007 and has enjoyed growing the practice. Dr. Kim is trained in the treatment and detection of ocular disease and is licensed as an Optometric glaucoma specialist in Texas. He has updated the office with new equipment to provide comprehensive eye care for all ages. He particularly takes special interest to diagnose and treat people with chronic dry eye disease.
Dr. Kim also enjoys finding the perfect solution to his patients’ needs whether it be specialty contact lenses, glasses, medical eye care, or a LASIK surgery or lens replacement surgery consultation. In his free time, Dr. Kim loves to spend time with his two boys and his amazing wife whom he has known since childhood.

After making San Antonio her home in 1981, she started her practice and became part of the Vision Source network in 1993. She has earned the prestigious distinction of Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and Noteworthy Practitioner. She became a Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry in January 2012.
Dr. Palys served as Chancellor of Beta Sigma Kappa, President of Women in Business, on the Board of the Battered Women’s Shelter and as a mentor for the Northside Independent School District. Dr. Palys is continually attending advanced training & continuing education to provide her patients with the best care possible. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Rosenberg School of Optometry at the University of the Incarnate Word.
In her spare time, Dr. Palys enjoys gardening and volunteering as a Bexar County Master Gardener. She has two wonderful grandchildren that keep her busy as well. She loves traveling and exploring distant countries. She has explored over 82 countries during her world travels with trips in 2018 to Jamaica, Michigan, and Canada. Trips to Cuba, Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong and Korea are planned in 2019.

Dr. Amy Schnegg received her Doctor of Optometry from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2012 and her Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana. Dr. Schnegg has been practicing Optometry since 2012 and is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, Certified Specialty and Medical Contact Lens Fitter, and Prescriber.
Dr. Schnegg’s interest in Optometry began on the recommendation of her optometrist and her strong comprehension of science in high school. She developed a desire to help patients achieve a higher quality of life through clearer vision as well as helping preserve their clear vision through the treatment of eye diseases and other eye conditions. Dr. Schnegg especially enjoys helping patients improve their quality of life by helping them achieve clearer and more dynamic vision.
Dr. Schnegg is active in community service on both the local and international levels. She proudly participates in yearly outreach eye surgery trips to Guatemala where she helps provide blindness-preventing cataract surgeries and other needed eye procedures.

Alexandra (Ally) Zuercher, O.D., F.A.A.O. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIWRSO) in 2018. Dr. Zuercher was active in the Private Practice Club, the student chapter of the Texas Optometric Association, and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas.
Dr. Zuercher continued her education by pursuing an Optometric Residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease through UIWRSO, spending a year working with various optometry and ophthalmology specialties to further her knowledge as an eyecare provider. She then continued her education by obtaining her fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry shortly after residency, giving her the prestigious title of F.A.A.O. Dr. Zuercher is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, licensed to provide all types of eyecare services, from prescribing glasses and contact lenses, to treating and managing many different types of ocular diseases.
In practice since 2018, Dr. Zuercher has also participated in vision screenings at the Special Olympics of Texas and has been involved with mission trips to the Texas Valley, providing hundreds of Texans with much needed eyecare. Dr. Zuercher is a caring listener who not only provides quality eyecare and services, but also strives to be the kind of eye doctor her patients can count on for many years to come.
In her time away from the office, Dr. Zuercher loves spending the evenings with her husband, her precious baby girl, and her two crazy and sweet beagles. She also enjoys swimming with family and friends at Medina Lake, trying new local restaurants and coffee shops, and playing board games.

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to the U.S. in 1975. We lived in Ohio for 5 years before moving to Texas. I received my bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University in 1993 and my Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1997. I started my optometry career at a private practice in Waco. After my husband and I moved to Boerne in 1999, I worked at various optometric offices as a relief doctor until I accepted a position at a commercial practice in San Antonio. In 2002, I accepted a contract position at Brooke Army Medical Center. I provided full-scope optometric care to retirees, dependents and active duty service members at BAMC and the Fort Sam Optometry Clinic for 11 years before joining a private practice in Kerrville in 2013.
I enjoy crafting, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends. I am involved in various ministries at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Boerne.
I am licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

I have been residing and practicing full-time in Boerne since 1999. My wife, Dr. Huong-Trinh Nguyen, and I have a wonderful daughter, Elisia. I am an active member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Boerne. I enjoy watching movies and reading, hanging out with my family and participating in various charity projects with the local Knights of Columbus council.
I am licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, which allows me to treat and manage eye diseases, including eye infections, removing ocular foreign bodies, diagnosing glaucoma, diabetic and hypertensive eye diseases, and co-managing laser vision correction procedures. I look forward to getting to know you and providing you with the best eye care possible.
